Listening With An Empty Mind
Masterful coaching is a fully present and connected conversation, with no judgment or agenda other than to help the client progress. To listen at the logical, emotional and organic level at the same time, the coach must listen from their subconscious mind, avoiding the filters of their conscious awareness. Tony is a Master Executive Coach, working globally with leaders in transition to develop their leadership skills and enhance business performance. His background includes 30 years in Leadership and Sales positions in Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia-Pacific in Technology and Software companies. Always ready to challenge the unknown, Tony was the individual to “parachute into the dark” when companies were expanding.

Energizing Coaching With The Magic and Mastery of Metaphors
Come experience powerful ways to deepen your coaching and to increase insights for your clients with the elegance of using metaphors. You will learn the ‘magic question” that always evokes a metaphor and other tools to assist your clients in deepening and broadening their learning to overcome obstacles to creating the life they want and the future that are wanting to design. Metaphors help clients to come to know what was unknown before and use the power of the unconscious in creative and transformational ways. And for additional learning, modern neuroscience findings about metaphor will be shared as well. Patrick Williams, Ed.D., MCC, is the founder of The Institute for Life Coach Training, the first-of-its-kind training institute that specializes in training psychotherapists, psychologists, counselors and helping professionals in building a successful coaching practice. He was licensed as a psychologist in 1980 and began executive coaching in 1990 with Hewlett Packard, IBM, and Kodak. He joined Coach U and was an International Coach Federation founding member and one of the first Master Certified Coaches.

Mastery: It’s An Inside Job
We’ll be looking at some of the mythology of mastery as well as what it takes to sustain it. Much of the time people focus on what to add, how to increase their skills. While skill building is relevant what’s more relevant is the presence involved. The ‘who’ that is building the skill because who you are makes a difference in what you do. It is also in the uniqueness of you. Michael is a champion of uniqueness and specializes in unorthodox thought leadership. When presenting it’s been said he’s a blend of wise elder and wickedly irreverent comedian. But that doesn’t include the business savvy, range and depth of experience garnered from 56 different jobs, and the mastery born of 2 decades of coaching clients from rock bands to Fortune 100 company execs and their teams.
A Path to Mastery of Generative Coaching
The path to mastery in Generative Coaching is one of a continual lifetime practice, exploration, and learning by the coach. It is a living ongoing engagement with the possibilities of being human and being an actor in the world. Bob is the founder of the Institute for Generative Leadership (IGL) and has trained hundreds of graduates in the three-year Coaching Excellence in Organizations (CEO) program. Bob clarifies the human foundations of leadership and coaching in the Generative Leadership framework.

The Coaching Relationship: Doorway to Mastery
While we speak of competencies developed in the coach, mastery actually happens in the relationship between coach and client. We tend to think of mastery as a level of competence – a destination. And yet honest MCC’s will tell us that they are sometimes masterful and sometimes not so much. True mastery is a result of a fluid working alliance in which both coach and client participate. Sam has been coaching since about 1990. He provided coaching as an internal coach at The Boeing Company for 9 years with individuals ranging from first level managers to company presidents. In 1999 and 2001 Sam attended the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and then taught in HI’s Coaching programs for 8 years.

What’s Love Got To Do With It? The Subtle Art of Judgment Slaying
Clients are quick to detect even the subtlest of judgment coming from a coach which enormously impedes creating trust and intimacy, the springboard of diving deep into identifying a client’s true motivation for change and their perceived obstacles. Raising the bar of coaching mastery requires being fully tuned into this subtle art of detection. When your client really feels seen, heard, respected and yes, loved, for who they are, they are capable of reaching for the stars and achieving any dream they are yearning to live. Annie left a successful corporate career over three decades ago and gave away everything she owned to study with a meditation master in the Himalayan Mountains of India for 7 years, as she is insatiably curious about life. Annie now works with corporate teams, relationships and individuals, to offer a perspective that is much valued, and highly sought after. Working with Annie requires you to be devoted to making change happen as she has the gift of getting to the heart of the matter at the speed of light. She excels at mentoring new and experienced coaches aspiring to mastery.

Mining For Gold: It’s All About Learning
A client’s new awareness is the opportunity for the coach to mine for the gold nuggets of self-discovery lying just below the surface of their awareness. Coaching is founded on the principle of empowerment. In other words, you facilitate a client’s self-empowerment by helping them learn more about themselves, so they will grow their own capacities for greater success and fulfillment in their work and lives. Fran is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), visionary leader, international speaker, and published author. She specializes in providing coaching and mentoring for experienced coaches.
